THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Caroline P. Walden, 84, widow of Mr. Thomas E. Walden Sr., died, Tuesday, November 23, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 26, in the Westview Cemetery with Rev. Ken Rowland officiating. Mrs. Walden was born in Baldwin County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church. She was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, and a member of the John Wilson Chapter of the D.A.R. Survivors include her two daughters, Lucretia W. (Calvin) Ferguson, Thomson; Rebecca Walden (Grant) Rudolph, Waynesboro; her two sons, Thomas E. (Elizabeth) Walden Jr., Hoschton; William M. Walden, Alpharetta; her sister, Mrs. Lucretia P. Talbott, Augusta; her five grandchildren, Tracy Walden, Atlanta; T.R. (Kerry) Ferguson, Thomson; Patrick (Lauren) Ferguson, Grovetown; Stephen Rudolph, Atlanta; Joseph Rudolph, Waynesboro; a great-grandchild, Lilly Ferguson, Grovetown; and Sheron McNeill Finnerty, who she considered her own. Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
