Martha B. Stewart (AUGUSTA, Ga.)


AUGUSTA, Ga. - Dearest Family and Loyal Friends, I have said farewellÉÉ Mrs. Martha B. Stewart, 96 departed this life on Monday evening November 15, 2010 at the Unicare Augusta Hills Nursing Care Facility, with her son holding her hand. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oglethrope Cemetery with Pastor Norris Harris, Officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 10:45 a.m. at the cemetery. Mrs. Stewart was a native of Oglethrope, GA and the oldest member of the St. Paul A.M.E. Church where she served faithfully until failing health Survivors are one caring daughter, Mrs. Elaine B. McKenzie, Atlanta, Ga., one devoted son, William C. Bridges, Augusta, Ga., one sister, Mrs. Pauline Flourny, Atlanta, GA., one nephew, Walter and Pricilla Bridges , Atlanta, GA. One daughter in Christ, Dr. Jacqueline Fason, a dedicated Caregiver, Mrs. Elouise Murray, a special friend Mrs. Elaine Walker, ten grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends. Special thanks and appreciation to Green's Florist for the many years that flowers were provided that brought joy to Mrs. Stewart. Special "Thank yous" are extended to the highly professional staff of Unicare Augusta Hills for providing such loving care and attention during her stay. The family will receive friends today from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at The St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Oglethorpe, GA. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Wayne Bridges, William C. Bridges, Jr., Gustavus T. Bridges, Kevin J. Bridges, Antonio Merrell Bridges and Chris Ladunn. Honorary pall bearers will be Stewards of of St. Paul AME Church. James R.
