EVANS, Ga. - Louise Wilson Hitzelberger Wright was born April 25, 1925 to Delia Young and Frank Wilson. God called her home to heaven Wednesday November 17, 2010 at 9:04 PM. She left this world in the loving care of Charnette and Freddie Carter of the Willows Personal Care Home, who cared for her as a grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Platt's Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Louise was one of 9 children: Edgar, Walter, Pearl, Virgil, Art, Richard, Robert, and Frankie. She and her sister Pearl were the only two remaining, which Pearl is 10 years older than Louise. She was raised on the farm in Brown County Indiana until she turned 16 and started working. She started work in the sewing room at Chevy Truck and Body where she met Albert G. Hitzelberger. Albert and Louise were married and had 3 girls: Charlotte Diane Cannon, Phyllis Gene Browning, and Joyce Elaine Kruse. They were married about 28 years when Albert died from Polycystic Kidney disease in August 1973. Louise remarried in April 1974 to Thomas B. Wright who passed away with lung cancer in June 1988. Louise has 12 grandchildren: Kimberly George (Frank), Lelsey Decker, Christopher Cannon (Dana), Donna Encardes (Kerry), Debbie Kassabaum (David), Denisea Kiewel (Jeff), Angie Moon (Chris), Jennifer Kohl (Buddy), Chantel Kruse, Ryan Kruse, and Timothy Kruse. Louise also was blessed with 15 great grandchildren: Nicholas George, Braden Caldwell, Kevin, Alex and Nicholas Encardes, Bradley and Courtney Kassabaum; Kristen Agelastos, Mackenzie and Samantha Kiewel; Eric and Johnathan Kelly, Rebecca Erryn and Jenna Claire Moon, and Kesley Kohl. Louise was also blessed with 3 great- great grandchildren: Kaitlynn and Alexia Agelastos, and Christopher Encardes. Louise enjoyed life and always raised all her girls to be independent, and when its gets rough, to grab hold of your boot straps and pull them up and keep going. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas Holiday Season; she started singing Christmas Carols in August or on our many shopping trips, no matter what the season was. She was a great cook - but never could give you the recipe because it was always a dab of this and pinch of that; how she loved to eat. She taught us all love, caring, sharing, and how to believe in the way of the Lord. Many times she would say, "God doesn't want me because I am so mean." The Lord just had a big assignment for her to complete before he brought her home. She has touched so many lives with love, laughter, and compassion. Her journey has ended and she is with the Lord and a cast of family waiting to welcome her home. Louise was preceded into heaven by her mom ,Delia, father, Frank, husbands, Albert and Tom, 7 brothers, Edgar, Walter, Virgil, Art, Richard, Robert, Frankie, one grandson, Timothy Kruse, and one great granddaughter, Rebecca Erryn Moon. Louise W. Hitzelberger Wright has battled with her illness with Alzheimer's since 1998. She has been with the Personal Care Home since February 2009, with assistance from Trinity Hospice since March 2010. Louise will be missed, but she is in the loving arms of our good Lord above and will dance again in joy.
