DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Belle McCorkle Neal, 98, wife of the late Robert G. Neal, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 19, 2010, at the Dearing Baptist Church with the Dr. Michael Timmerman officiating. Interment will be in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Neal was born in McDuffie County and was the daughter of the late A.B. McCorkle and Lizzie Wells McCorkle. She possessed many talents including being an excellent Seamstress, Quilter, Artist, and was the author of many beautiful Poems. Mrs. Neal was a member of the Dearing Town and Country Woman's Club and the Dearing Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her son, Bobby (Mary) Neal, Dearing; her daughter Mozelle (William) Oxner, Martinez; five grandchildren, Glenn Neal, Michael Neal, Melanie N. Smith, Kim McDowell and Michelle Chastain; and great-grandchildren Russ, Jim, Stacy, Emily, Jazmine, Cassie, Hailee, Dallas and Cameron. Pallbearers will be Larry Fulmer, Glenn Neal, Kenny Hall, Eric Skinner, Andy Rodgers, and Michael Neal. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
