AUGUSTA, Ga. - Gilles Jackson, affectionately known as Gill, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at his residence, 2448 Cumming Rd., Augusta, Ga. Gilles was born at Toul-Rosieres Air Base in France on January 14, 1964 to Jessie, Sr. and Bessie Jackson. He resided in Augusta, Ga. and was a graduate of Richmond Academy High School. Gill leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Jessie Jackson; mother, Bessie Jackson; three sisters, Mavid (Arthur) Johnson, Eugenia J. Smith, and Jurine (Charles) Davis of Augusta, Ga.; three brothers, Jessie Jackson, Jr., Curdette Jackson, and Foried Jackson of Augusta, Ga.; one aunt, Mattie Pearl (George) Gunn of Columbus, Ga.; one uncle, Leroy (Ruth) Carter of Talbotton, Ga.; devoted nephews, Gybrille (Mishonda) Jackson and Kenji Gross of Augusta, Ga.; his best friend, Lonnie Dozier of Augusta, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at C.A. Reid, Sr. Memorial Funeral Home.
