AUGUSTA, Ga. - Virginia Mangan Casey, 88, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Platt's Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Deacon Ken Maleck officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Virginia was a military wife and traveled to many different places. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Thomas J. Casey of Augusta, GA, James J. Casey, Jr. and wife Janie of Johnson City, TN, four daughters, Terrill A. Casey of Clear Lake, CA, Kathleen R. Knapp and husband Edward of Martinez, GA, Maureen E. Davis of Augusta, GA, Patricia M. Casey of Augusta, GA, seven grandchildren, Michael Casey, Stiles Walters, Christine Walters, Amy Rohr, Matthew Knapp, James J. Casey III, Emily V. Casey, three great grandchildren, Brenden Casey, Shane Casey, and Aiden Casey. Virginia was preceded in death by her huband, Lt. Col. Ret. James Joseph Casey.
