GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. Irvin Cato, Jr., 77, husband of Mrs. Rebie W. Cato, entered into rest October 21, 2010, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1pm in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Reverend Lucious Cato officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cato was born in Augusta and retired from the Graniteville Company. The family would like to express their special gratitude to Valerie Dye, Carolyn Mingledoff and all the other angels of Alliance Hospice. Survivors include his wife Rebie Cato; one son Gary (Carla) Cato, Appling; three daughters, Eleanor (James) Finch, Washington, Gail Turner, Grovetown, and Cheryl Few, Augusta; three brothers, Rev. Lucious Cato, Grovetown, Arthur Miller, and Roy Miller, of Alabama; one sister Eloise Emmons, California; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Obie Morris, Bobby Hadden, Alan Hall, Patrick Bryant, Shannon Lovette and Christopher Kendricks.
