AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Rosa Brown Hollins entered into rest on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Kentwood. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2010, at 12 noon at Thankful Baptist Church with Rev. Christopher J. Waters officiating and Minister Adolph Hollins III, Eulogist. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. Mrs. Hollins was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia; a member of Thankful Baptist Church; a Deaconess and sang in the church choir for several years as an Alto. Survivors are sons, Thomas (Janice) Hollins, Augusta, Minister Adolph (Elizabeth) Hollins III, Hephzibah, GA; daughters, Dr. Bettye Hollins, Earnestine (Frank E., Sr.) Howard, Augusta, Mary Hollins, Boston, MA, Doretha Hollins Williams, Augusta; fourteen grandchildren: Frank E. (Chelsea) Howard Jr., Monica (Terrance) Robbins, Donald (Kiki) Howard, Veronica A. Howard, Tommy Hollins, Trint (Tabitha) Hollins, Tiffany Eagle, Todd D. (Jackie) Hollins, Khari Hollins, Adrianna (Bennie) Burchettes, Alicia A. Hollins, Bryan S. (Mary) Hollins, Fred Hollins, Celeste F. Hollins; twenty three great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; sister, Annie Maude (Thomas) Turner, sister-in-law, Mattie K. Powell; devoted great grandchildren, Jada Washington, Teddie Lee Nixon, Alexia Nixon and other relatives. The remains will lie in state at the church 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
