HEPHZIBAH, Ga. Mrs. Alice A. Williams, widow of Nathaniel Leo Williams, entered into rest on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mrs. Williams, a native of Sparta, GA, was retired from Ronlyn Food Service and the Richmond County Board of Education. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church where served in the Mission in Action, the Readers' Club and as advisor for the Junior Mission. Survivors are her daughters, Connie (Dr. Sandy) Cooper, Columbia, SC, Candace Wiggins, Hephzibah; stepson, Leo Nathaniel (Angela) Williams, Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Katasha Scott, Ashley Wiggins, Azaria, Aryn, and Nehemiah Cooper; three great grandchildren; mother, Evelyn Abrams, Sparta, GA; sisters, Kathy (Jesse) Harper, Reva Williams, Vanessa (Terrell) Cheathem, Milledgeville, GA; brothers, Charles (Geisela) Duggans, Augusta, Timothy (Mildred) Duggans, Lucious (Judy) Abrams, Milledgeville, GA; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn (Joe) Moore, Jacksonville, FL; aunt, Mrylean Bell, Daytona, FL; god daughter, Franshon Hollis, Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
