AUGUSTA, Ga. - A retired educator, Mrs. Tindall leaves us a proud past which others can build. She entered into rest early Tuesday morning, September 7, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mark United Methodist Church, 1296 Marks Church Road with Reverend Dr. Doris L. Harvey, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. As an educator, Mrs. Tindall was recognized twice during her tenure as "Teacher of the Year" in Richmond County. A worthy and true representative of her school and community, she was a devoted member of St. Mark United Methodist Church for 30 plus years. She served as organist and choir director for the majority of those years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Titus C. Tindall and her cherished son, Mr. Prince Rainier Tindall. They were the love of her life. The daughter of Rev. P. W. and Evelyn Rock, she was the sixth of nine sisters and brothers. She is survived by one brother, Mr. Wilbur T. Rock and his wife Eva Rock of Chattanooga, TN. She leaves a living legacy in the hosts of various nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will cherish and honor the imprint she has left on all their lives.
