AUGUSTA, Ga. - Janice Simmons Wilson, 59, formally of Kennesaw, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at Trinity Hospital. Janice was a graduate of Georgia State College and she loved to read. Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her father, Isaac Simmons and brother, Thomas "Mark" Simmons. Survivors include her children, Kristen Leigh Wilson and David Christopher Wilson, mother, Helen L. Simmons and grandchildren, Chance, Tybee, Daylie and Aura. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Westover Memorial Park with Pastors Dan Brown and Greg Hatfield officiating. The family suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church c/o Nehemiah Project, 1330 Monte Sano Ave., Augusta, GA. 30904.
