EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Georgia Mae Holmes Broadwater, 75, of Glover Street, entered into rest September 6, 2010. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Broadwater, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the senior choir. Survivors include a daughter, Hattie (George) Johnson; three sisters, Josephine (William) Garrett, Ruby Herrin, and Susan Sellars; four brothers, Joe Lewis Holmes, Henry (Barbara) Holmes, Larry Holmes, and Ernest Holmes; a granddaughter, Cherice Johnson; a host of other relatives and friends.
