AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Florence Thurmond Templeton, 89, widow of the late Clisby Templeton, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Golden Living Center Windermere. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Edgefield, South Carolina. The Rev. Dave Dillard of Warren Baptist will officiate. She is survived by her brother, Rod Thurmond and family, a sister, Mozelle Rabon and family, her grandchildren, Rhett Ransom, Vicki Ransom and Frank Ransom, and her great grandchildren, Jennifer Hall, Derek Hall, Joe Koon, Jessica Ransom and Matthew Bryson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Hammond Ransom and her granddaughter, Jan Hall.
