EATONTON, Ga. - Mr. Christopher Lee Vandevender, 36 of Eatonton, died on September 7, 2010. Chris was born in Landstuhl, Germany to Danny and Inge Vandevender. Chris also spent time growing up in Augusta. After high school, Chris joined the United States Army. Most recently he was employed as a manager for Hibbett Sports in Madison. Chris was a member of Madison First United Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved his dog. Chris loved his his two daughters and spending time with them. Chris is survived by his parents, Inge Vandevender and Danny Vandevender and his daughters, Skyler and Jessica Vandevender. He also has a sister, Helga V.Brassell & David and a niece Hannah Brassell.
