AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Luke Williams, Sr., formerly of Nixon Road entered into rest Thursday September 2, 2010 at the Charlie Norwood V. A. Medical Center, Uptown Division. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are two sons, Jerome (Shirley) Williams, Carl (Queen Ester) Williams; 10 daughters, Betty (Barney) Gilbert, Delores Williams, Diane (Stephen) Eubanks, Ester Thompson, Carol (Walter) Jones, Mary (Vernon)Tutt, Elizabeth (Richard) Dunn, Audrey Harper, Nacole (Brian) Aura, all of Augusta, GA, Patricia (Kenneth) Odom, Richmond, VA; two brothers, Tom Ashley, Ft. Meyers, Florida, Charles Ashley, Bronx, NY; three sisters, Mable (Olin) Johnson, Augusta, GA, Liza Ashley, St. Albany, NY and Beatrice Ashley, Corona, NY; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 3 great great grand children; other relatives and friends.
