AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth P. Royal of Sumac Drive entered into rest on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at University Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church with Rev. Robert Christian, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. Mrs. Royal, a native of Sylvania, GA, was retired from Babcock & Wilcox. She was a member of Mt. Zion AME Zion Church where she served in the Busy Bee Club. Survivors are two sons, William (Mattie) Royal, Henry (Sharon) Royal, Augusta; four daughters, Alzenia R. Williams, Augusta, Patricia (Shelby) Jennings, Hephzibah, Joann (Dale) Nero, Beech Island, SC, Mattie Johnson, Augusta; one sister, Rosa Lewis, Augusta; two brothers, Willie (Molly) Patterson, Freeport, NY, Bennie (Chris) Patterson, Sylvania, GA; twenty grandchildren; mother-in-law, Mary Royal; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
