WADLEY, Ga. - Mrs. Betty Irene Goddard McNeal, age 82, of Butts Street, died Wednesday, afternoon September 1, 2010 in the Glendale Nursing Home in Wadley. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. McNeal was a native of Canton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ben & Estelle Grover Burnette, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, children: Elizabeth Doughty, William Hugh Goddard, and Walter Dennis Goddard. Mrs. McNeal is survived by a daughter & son in-law, Linda & Ralph McDuffie of Forrest Park, GA, son & daughter in-law, Benny & Wanda Goddard of Jonesboro, GA., 11 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
