MADISON, Ohio - Mass of Christian Burial for Leo C. Leiden, 76, of Madison, was held 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at St. Cyprian Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry. Burial was in North Madison Cemetery. Mr. Leiden passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born April 7, 1934, in Cleveland, and was a former resident of University Heights. He was a member of St. Cyprian Church and the Madison Country Club. He was a supporter of the Cleveland Orchestra and loved classical music. Leo loved playing bridge. Mr. Leiden was the former CEO of Leiden Cabinet Company in Cleveland and a former trustee of the Carpenters Association (J.A.T.C.). He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Dolores (Lentz) Leiden; father of Kenneth (Shelly) Leiden of Boulder, Colo, Dianne (Bruce) Conroy of Tallahassee, Fla., and Debbie (Brian) Pessaro of Tampa, Fla.; grandfather of Brendan, Erin, Kelly, Mary Grace and Teresa Conroy, Luke and Renee Leiden and Gianna, Angelo and Lucia Pessaro; and brother of Terry (Sara) of Augusta, Ga., and Tim of Mentor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo I. and Esther (Alcox) Leiden; and brothers, William and Joseph.
