AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Harold Lawrence McClendon, 82, of Augusta, husband of Elizabeth Ouzts McClendon, died Saturday July 31, 2010 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. Private Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Mr. McClendon was a native of Edgefield, S.C. and was a Navy veteran of WW II. He was the son of the late Frank Oscar McClendon and Varie Still McClendon and he was a Mason and a Shriner. He was Retired from E.I. Dupont. Survivors include his wife, 1 Son- Daniel L. McClendon, Doraville, Ga.; 1 Granddaughter- Ashley G. Mayers, Gaston, S.C.; 1 Brother- LCDR Frank McClendon and 1 Sister- Lois Worth, both of Fla.
