GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Ollie E. Leaverette, 73, of Old Cherokee Indian Road, entered into rest July 28, 2010. Mr. Leaverette, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Helen Brown Leaverette; Graniteville, SC; two daughters, Sonja Leaverette, Graniteville, Sc and Vickie Leaverette, Bloomfield, N.J.; four sons, Steve Leaverette, Sr., Graniteville, SC, Ollie (Tracey) Leaverette, Jr., Cranford, N.J., Damian Leaverette, Graniteville, SC and Roderic Leaverette, Baltimore, MD; a brother, Willie (Ruth) Leaverette, Aiken, one aunt, Lucille Jefferson, Aiken, SC; thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends, Friends may call at the residence or after 1 p.m., today at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. G.L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. G.L.
