AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Shirley Ann Perkins Mathis, of Cameron Drive, entered into rest Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the V.A. Medical Center DD. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are her husband, Philip Kurt Mathis; two sons, Samuel Mathis and Phillip Mathis; one daughter, Shamika Mathis; granddaughter, Amarianna Mathis; four sisters, Ethel R. Cooley, Lillian Perkins, Elaine Willette, all of Augusta, and Betty Patterson, Bronx, N.Y.; three brothers, Jimmy (Sarah) Perkins, Hephzibah, Ga., James Perkins, Charles Albert Perkins, Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
