STATESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Reginald D. Dawson, age 36, passed peacefully away on Monday June 14th at Ogeechee Area Hospice after a short illness. He was Richmond County native residing in Bulloch County for many years. He was a 1992 graduate of George P. Butler Comprehensive School of Augusta, Ga. He was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree; he was currently working towards a Eds Leadership Degree. He was a former employee with Wachovia Bank as Vice-President until 2003 and a former employee with Cleve White Nissan as a Finance Director until 2005. He was currently employed with the Bulloch County Board of Education as a teacher at Statesboro High School. He was team leader 9th grade Academy, Advisor for the Science Club, and was on the leadership team at Statesboro High. He was a former member of 2nd Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Augusta, Ga. He was a member of Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as Chairman of the Administrative Council,Church Treasurer,Board of Trustees local church and District level, member of the male chorus, Pastor Parish Relations committee, and taught Vacation Bible School. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Natosha Nunnally Dawson of Statesboro, Ga.; his two precious children Deven and Drew Dawson both of Statesboro, Ga.; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Leon and Catherine Clay both of Augusta, Ga.; his sister Ms. Latosha Dawson of Augusta, Ga.; father and mother in law Oliver Nunnally, Jr. and Linda Nunnally of Statesboro, Ga.; one brother in law Craig (Karen) Nunnally of Statesboro, Ga.; his aunts and uncles Bernice Houston and Marcia Jones both of Augusta, Ga., Betty J. Ford of Tennessee, Nina B. Jordan, Wilmatine (Micheal) Moore, Randolph and Lillian Huff, Edward (Nora) Huff, Lehman (Juanita) Huff, James (Mattie Sue) Huff all of Statesboro, Ga., Lavern Huff, Claude and Bettye Huff, and Patricia Huff all of New York City; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Reginald Dawson will be Saturday June 19, 2010 at 11am at Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church, 20 Elm Street, Statesboro Ga., with Rev. Donald Mathis, eulogist. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Family visitations will be Friday June 18, 2010 from 6-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel in charge of services.
