NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Paul A. Hightower, 55, of North Augusta, entered into rest, Sunday, June 13, 2010 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who loved sailing, biking, hiking, water sports, and camping. He retired from Westinghouse at Savannah River Site. Mr. Hightower is survived by his beloved wife, Jeannie McFeely Hightower; his mother, Mary Francis Hightower; and his brother, Larry G. Hightower. Mr. Hightower is preceded in death by his father, Afton C. Hightower. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, 3321 Wheeler Road, Augusta, with the Rev. Dr. Ellen Francis Poisson, OSH, officiating.
