MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth Pearl Avery, of Collins Drive, entered into rest on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Lake Crossing Health Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, Martinez, Ga., with the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was a native of Columbia Co., Ga. and a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church, Martinez, Ga., where she was a member of the Willing Workers Club. Survivors are two daughters, Sharon (Terry) Curry, Augusta, Ga., Patricia Avery, Martinez, Ga.; two sons, Booker Avery, Willie Avery, Martinez, Ga.; sister, Lillie (John) Burnett, Augusta, Ga.; brother, Willie Smith, Augusta, Ga.; six grandchildren; sisters in law, Marie Smith, Carrie Roscoe, Catherine Smith, Hattie Avery; brothers in law, Wade Avery, Rev.
