BRADENTON, Fla. - Edith Virginia Keith Holland, 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Our Home at Wares Creek in Bradenton, FL. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana, who always had a smile on her face. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and Sherwood Baptist Church in Augusta, then attended the First Baptist Church of Gillette in Palmetto, FL. Edith spent her time operating her craft business, Callie Cox Collectibles, where she made dolls, Santas, and Angels. Edith is survived by her husband, Edward C. Holland, Sr. of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Virginia Holland (Ray) Oxendine of Palmetto, FL, Patsy Holland (Gary) Pencoe of Springfield, GA, and Anita Holland (Beth Faulker) of Bradenton, FL; son, Edward C. Holland, Jr. of Martinez, GA; grandchildren, David Hamby, Mandy Mercer, Crystal Malphrus, Julie Warner, J.P. Holland, and Josh Holland. Also surviving are fourteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom Edith held dear to her heart. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Sherwood Baptist Church with Rev. Marion Jay officiating. Interment concluded in Bellevue Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Ray Oxendine, Gary Pencoe, Brad Malphrus, J. P. Holland, Josh Holland, and David Hamby. A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Gillette in Bradenton, FL at a later date.
