Shirley B. Moore (BELVEDERE, S.C.)

BELVEDERE, S.C. - Mrs. Shirley B. Moore, 67, of Belvedere, SC, daughter of the late Clyde and Cleo Rhoden Baggett, entered into rest Wednesday, March 31st, 2010, with her daughter, Monica, who was also her best friend, at her side. Born in Springfield, SC, and a resident of Aiken County, SC, most of her life, Shirley retired from Collier-Jennings/Security Federal Insurance after twenty-years of service. She was a very active member of Belvedere First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Azell Mundy Sunday School Class. When her children were younger, she was known as 'The Kool-Aid Mom' to the neighborhood children. Prior to her health declining, she enjoyed going to the Huddle House, Wife Saver, the mountains and the Biltmore Estate. Family members include her children, Dean Moore, (Diane) North Augusta, SC, Monica M. Marzullo, North Augusta, SC and Todd Moore, (Angela) Aiken, SC; her beloved grandchildren, Dustin Moore and Christine Marzullo and her siblings, Mickey Aull, Salisbury, NC, the late Dottie Porter, Williston, SC and Carolyn Johnson, Wisconsin. At her request, Shirley will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 3rd, 2010, at 11 o'clock at Belvedere First Baptist Church, Belvedere, SC, with Pastor John Meyer and Dr. Roy Head officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Jennings, Gerald Jennings, Shaun Morris, Mike Hooper, Tracy Hooper and Eddie Hooper. Shirley's cremains will be interred at a later date in Mount of Olives Cemetery, Johnston, SC, next to her mother. Friends may call at the family home. If so desired, memorials in memory of Shirley may be made to Belvedere First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 8168 Belvedere, SC 29861-8168.
