CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - William Terrence Farley passed away March 27, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Funeral service: Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville, Tenn. Honor Guard will give full military honors and serve as pallbearers. William was born August 30, 1933 in Santa Cruz, Calif. to the late Frank A. and Doris Hartman Farley. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Farley and a grandchild, Paul Harper. Survivors include: wife, Treva Jo Farley; children, Patricia and Hitt Arnold, Karen and Ken Cates, Mary Farley, Fern and Ty Taylor, and Karen and Tony Hicks; grandchildren, Trisha and Steven Roberts, Tonia and Mathew DeCenzo, Terry and Angela Taylor, Tiffany and David Brinson, Erin and Greg Bowers, Ty Taylor, Sarah Cates, and Maddie Hicks; and great grandchildren, Gabe Bowers, Gavin Brinson, Ansley DeCenzo, Christian DeCenzo, Tristen Brinson, Olivia Taylor, and Sophia Taylor. William retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, serving tours in both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He also retired from Taft after 10 years of service.
