GARFIELD, Ga. - Mr. Joe Raleigh Bowen, age 80, died Sunday, March 21, 2010. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00am at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.

Man charged in deaths of parents, brother

Richmond County sheriff's investigators have charged Ryan David Jones with three counts of murder and related charges in connection to Tuesday's discovery of three charred bodies in south Augusta.
