GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Delorese Givens Harmon, 85, of Graniteville, SC, wife of the late Richard V. Harmon and daughter of the late Harry L. and Marie Johnson Givens, entered into rest Saturday, March 20th, 2010. Born in Williston, SC, she had been a resident of Langley, SC, most of her life where she was a member of Langley First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Family members include a son, Van Harmon, (Susan Willing) Graniteville, SC; daughter, Carol Wilson, (Lamar) Bath, SC; nephews, Phillip McElhaney and Mike McElhaney; niece, Judy Walker, grandchildren, Christopher Harmon, Betsy Trujillo, Kellie Harmon, Carla Epperly and Haley Wilson and great-grandchildren, Wade Harmon, Parker Harmon, Logan Harmon, Mackensi Trujillo, Maddux Trujillo, Jaxon Trujillo and Josiah Epperly. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010, at 11 o'clock from the graveside in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC, with Pastor Ken Garvin officiating. Pallbearers will be Dennis Carter, Lee Willing, Ronnie Allen, Jesse Canady, Glynn Luke, Mark Willing and Troy Nobles. To show appreciation for the care given to Mrs. Harmon, the family has asked that memorials be made to Trinity Hospice.
