AUGUSTA, GA - Mr. John G. McGuire III, 58, husband of Michelle C. McGuire, entered into rest peacefully at his residence, Friday, March 19, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, GA with Capt. Wilma Mason and Elizabeth McGuire officiating. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Chaney McGuire; two sons, John G. McGuire, IV, Grovetown and Harrison Carey McGuire, Augusta; one daughter, Elizabeth M. McGuire, Augusta; his mother, Mildred B. McGuire, Evans, two sisters, Jennie Hallman, Martinez and Connie Miller, Evans; one granddaughter, Brooklynn M. Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his father, John G. McGuire, Jr. Mr. McGuire was a native of Richmond County. He was a machine operator with Kennametal Company. He was a member of Augusta International Raceway Preservation Society. Pallbearers will be Dennis Kirkland, Charlie McIntosh, Scott McIntosh, Curtis Glass, Brett McGuire, Sr. and Brett McGuire.
