AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Wallace Allen, 73, of 216 Greenville St. NW, Aiken, S.C., departed this life on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 1 p.m. from the Thankful Grove Baptist Church, Windsor, S.C., with the Rev. Freddie L. Bush, Eulogist and the Rev. Sheldonia Brown, Presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include his sister, Janie Lewis, Aiken, S.C.; aunt, Carrie Fair, N.Y.; a devoted cousin, Gracie Allen, Aiken, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the residence of the sister, Janie Lewis, 229 Fairfield Street NE, Aiken, S.C. or at Jackson Brooks Funeral Home beginning 3 p.m. Friday.
