AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Rosa B. Mims Brown, 73, entered into rest March 17, 2010 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 21, 2010, at 1 p.m. from the Jacksonville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Holloway officiating. Mrs. Brown, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Jacksonville Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa (Alfonso) Jennings and Viola Brown, North Augusta, S.C., and Gloria Brown, Ridge Spring, S.C.; three sons, Roy (Glennice) Brown, Trenton, S.C., Johnny (Diane) Brown, and Stanley (Joyce Bryant) Brown, Graniteville, S.C.; a brother, Lemiah (Rachel) Mims, Aiken, S.C.; aunt, Rosa Bell Ashmore, Bath, S.C.; goddaughter, Thomasina Dais; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 8 sisters and brothers in law; a host of other relatives and friends.
