MACON, Ga. - Mrs. Effie Jane Blackwell entered into rest March 14, 2010 at Coliseum Northside Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA with Rev. Roy D. Andrews and Rev. Dennis J. Quinn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Blackwell was a native of Lincoln County, a former resident of Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Macon, GA for several years. She is survived by her children, Linda Blackwell of Macon, GA and Robert (Denise) Blackwell of Missouri City, TX; grandchildren, Effelene Blackwell of Macon, GA, Zachery Blackwell and Evan Blackwell of Missouri City, TX; one brother, Fred Ellis Zellars of Sumter, SC and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
