HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Carlton H. Carty entered into rest on Monday, March 15, 2010 at his residence. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at South Augusta Church of Christ with Mike McCormick officiating. Mr. Carty, a native of Trinidad, WI, was World War II veteran of the Trinidad Light Infantry. He was retired from the Trinidad Police Department and was a member of South Augusta Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Carty, and a son, Carl Carty. Survivors are three sons, Ronald (Joan) Eastman, Elman (Roberta) Carty, Hephzibah, Anthony (Cheryl) Carty, Canada; three daughters, Annette Carty-Estridge, Elizabeth (Bertram) Mortley, Hephzibah, Leonora (Glenn) Thomas, Trinidad; one sister, Kathleen Bowman, Trinidad; twenty five grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and other relatives.
