HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Ella Mae Winfrey, of Essex Place, entered into rest Monday, March 15, 2010, at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Enoch Ward, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. She was a native of North Carolina. Survivors are her husband, Earl Winfrey, Hephzibah, Ga.; two daughters, Mae Doris White, Baltimore, Md., Geraldine Marie Brooks, Courtland, Va.; two sisters, Elizabeth Mack, Orangeburg, S.C., Etta Rosa Carter, San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Leroy Lockwood, Jr., Southern Pines, N.C.; nine grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; two devoted nieces, Willie (Pamela) Williams, Dianna Wilson; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
