NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mr. Raymond H. Hill, 81, of Heil Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest March 16, 2010, will be conducted Thursday at 12 noon from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Coyle officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hill was a native of Spartanburg County, a former resident of Old Hickory, Tennessee, having made North Augusta his home for over 50 years. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, retired from E. I. DuPont Company at the Savannah River Site with over 32 years of service, and was a very active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Hill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Anna Lee Hill; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy and Lisa Hill, Evans and Ronnie Hill, North Augusta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Al Duval, Columbia and Terri and Dale Bignell, Richland, Washington; a sister, Ethel Waldrop, Spartanburg, SC; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
