LINCOLNTON, Ga. - The Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Julius E. Meeks, 85, of Lincolnton, Georgia, who entered into rest March 14, 2010, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from The Church of The Most Holy Trinity. Father Michael Lubinsky celebrant. Final Prayers and Commendations in Pineview Memorial Park with Veteran's Honors. Mr. Meeks was a native of Georgetown, South Carolina, a former resident of North Augusta, having made Lincolnton his home for past 23 years. He was a communicant of the Church of The Most Holy Trinity, a US Army Veteran of World War II and was retired from E. I. Dupont Company at the Savannah River Plant with 35 years of service. Mr. Meeks was a graduate of John Delahowe in McCormick and the University of South Carolina. He was the husband of the late Mary Magdalene Meeks. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Julius Eric and Joyce Meeks, Lincolnton, Mike and Lynda Meeks, Clemmons, NC and Mark Meeks and Julie Hendrichs, Evans; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannette and Richard Fulmer, Graniteville and Theresa and Jeff Greenway, Sr., North Augusta; a brother, Dolan Williams, Charlotte, NC; a sister, Beulah Seales, Georgetown, SC; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 6 until 8.
