AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Virginia Appling Trammell entered peacefully into eternal rest on March 10, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted (today) Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from Greater Mount Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Wheeler Road, Augusta with Dr. Victor Thomas, pastor-officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave from the daughter's residence on 1st Avenue at 1:15 p.m. W.H. Mays Mortuary 1221 James Brown Boulevard, Augusta, Georgia 30901.
