COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Miriam Gay Ketcham, 89, of Columbia, SC, who entered into rest March 12, 2010, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mrs. Ketcham was a native of Augusta, a former resident of North Augusta, having made Columbia her home for the past 16 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church of Columbia, a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and retired from McKesson-Robbins with over 30 years of service. Mrs. Ketcham was the wife of the late Darrel Ketcham and grandmother of the late Tanya Louise Sherr. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Shirley Sherr, Columbia and Bill and Linda Sherr, Gulf Shores, Alabama; 3 grandchildren, R. Thad Sherr, Angela Marie Reissick and William G. Sherr, Jr.; 7 great-grandchildren. The Holy Rosary will be recited at the funeral home this Tuesday evening at 5:30 followed by visitation until 8.
