THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Harry C. Thomas. 83, widower of Mrs. Betty J. Thomas, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, in the University Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Widener officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thomas was a life long resident of McDuffie County. He was a retired Plant Manager for National Homes. He was a member of Hill Baptist Church, and an Army W.W.II Veteran. Survivors include his daughter, Jill (Randy) Crutfield, Thomson; a son, Keith (Lana) Thomas, Suger Hill GA.; a sister, Linda (Larry) Swindell, Thomson; his five Grandchildren, Erika (Bart) Harris, Parker Thomas, Riley Thomas, Trey Thomas, and Ashlyn Thomas. Pallbearers will be Paul Cook, Jeff Cook, Mike Cook, Rusty Tisdale, Jonathan Crutfield, and Randy Crutfield. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home.
