HARLEM, Ga. - RET SFC Dennis G. Hoyle, Sr., husband of the late Florence Mary Hoyle, passed away Tuesday, March 09, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 12, 2010, at the LDS Church, Harlem, Ga., with Bishop Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors. Mr. Hoyle was born in Erwin, TN to the late Howard and Sophie Hoyle. He retired from the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War and was the recipient of many military awards including the National Defense Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. Mr. Hoyle had retired from Tracy- Luckey Company. He enjoyed coaching softball as well as working with Cub Scouts. Survivors include one brother James Hoyle; four sons Dennis Hoyle, Jr., David Hoyle, Don Hoyle and Dale Hoyle; three daughters, Patricia Fairfax, Yvonne Hoyle, and Melitta Dahlbeck; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Mr. Hoyle was preceded in death by his daughter Rosemary Hoyle.
