NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Memorial Services for Mr. James E. Burnett, 48, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest March 9, 2010, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Lori Blocker officiating. Mr. Burnett was a native of Augusta, having made North Augusta his recent home. He was a retired automobile mechanic. Survivors include his daughters, Vanessa Silman, Augusta and Elizabeth Burnett, Augusta; his mother, Elizabeth Yount, Evans; two brothers, Robert Burnett, Evans and David Carmichael, Lincolnton; three sisters, Georgia Smith, Evans, Susan Jones, Augusta and Teresa Fuller, Jackson, MS; two grandchildren, Aidan Silman and Matthew James Silman; his companion, Kathy Smith.
