MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Leelan Vance Marshall, 79, died March 7, 2010, at the home of her daughter, Virginia L. Marshall of Martinez, GA, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Marshall, Jr. Survivors also include her beloved cat Noel, brother, Billy J. Vance of Newland, NC, sister, Ramona Angwin of Lindenhurst, NY, and 18 nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday March 11, 2010 in the Stamey Town Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in the Stamey Town Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at Webb Funeral Home and the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
