MILLEN, Ga. - Hubert Harris Knight, age 74, died Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born in Burke County, a U. S. Army veteran, retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 34 years, and was a member of Millen Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Coleman Knight, parents, Robert and Mary Knight, a brother, James Knight and a sister, Virginia K. Dean. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday at the Millen Cemetery with Dr. Maurice Crowder and Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Survivors include his son, Brian (Jessica) Knight of Millen; a granddaughter, Lauren Knight; and a sister, Betty (Virgil) Choates of Midville.
