BATH, S.C. - Entered into rest on Saturday, February 27, 2010, Mr. Richard Lee Able, husband of Mrs. Betty Wheeler Able, 68, of 232 Railroad Street, Bath, SC. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Priscilla Jean "Doodle" Jones. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Theresa Able Kaney, and Angie Able Krauss; five sisters, Anna Able, Peggy Ryals, Cathy Jones, Nora Still and Lisa Kitchens; two brothers, Johnny Martin and Stevie Martin; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mr. Able was born in Aiken, SC to the late Kenneth and Doris Bell Robinson Able. He retired with twenty five years of service from Bath Water Works. He was a member of New Hope Gospel Church. Memorial services will be on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the New Hope Gospel Chapel with Rev. Bob Still officiating.
