AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Henry Gilchrist, Jr. departed this life on Monday, February 22, 2010, in V.A. Medical Center, Downtown. He leaves to cherish his memories; a devoted daughter, Alexia (James) Roundtree, devoted granddaughter, Kentrice Gaines; two sisters, Inez G. Smith, Callie G. (Charles) Dent; two brothers, Robert (Alice) Gilchrist, David (Patricia) Gilchrist, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and devoted neighbors, a devoted caregiver Shimeka Gibson.
