AUGUSTA, Ga. - Colleen C. Bannon passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Glendale, AZ at the age of 49. She was the loving daughter of Richard J. and the late Rosemary J. Bannon Sr., beloved sister of Ann (Terry) Wyllie of Virginia, Maureen (Mark) Wilcomb of Virginia, Richard (Gloria) Bannon Jr. of Plainfield, Arthur Bannon of Naperville and Marybeth Bannon of Joliet. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, Krista M. Bannon, Patrick, Timothy and Logan M. Wyllie, Mark D., Sean R., Kevin M. and Brianna Bannon, Anna E. and Katharine T. Meier, Conaill M. Wilcomb and Noah James Wolf. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. She attended Cathedral of St. Raymond Grade School, Providence Catholic High School, and was a graduate of Joliet Junior College Nursing Program. She was a Staff nurse at the University of Chicago Medical Center immediately after receiving her nursing degree. Subsequently she was employed by the Flying Nurses with assignments throughout the eastern and southeastern United States. Most recently she was a charge nurse in Augusta, GA. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic, 18 Woodlawn Avenue, Joliet, IL, on Saturday, February 6, 2010. We have fond memories of Colleen from the St. Mary's Choir and Single's Group. Her loving smile is greatly missed at Mass. May she rest in peace in the arms of Our Saviour. Sincerely, Carla and Mark Huebner-
