ATLANTA, Ga. - Jack Joseph Bush, age 83 of Atlanta, GA. joined his beloved wife Ruth Ballard Bush December 15, 2009. Born March 12, 1926 in Allendale, South Carolina, he is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws Elizabeth and Gary McGee, Lilburn, GA, Jane and Bernie Donoghue, Chatsworth, NJ; his grandchildren Sean McGee, Christopher McGee, Stephany Donoghue, and Alexander Donoghue. Jack, a World War II veteran Staff Sergeant for the Army Air Force served his country in Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Upon completion of service to his country, Jack graduated from Clemson University in 1950. Soon thereafter he became employed with John Deere and Company until his retirement 31 years later. Jack spent his retirement days enjoying the bounty of the sea with his beloved wife and friends at his retirement home in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. Military Funeral Honors and interment will be held Monday, February 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, South Carolina.
