MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Carolyn Mae Lonergan Newman entered into rest Sunday, Feb. 7 , 2010, at her residence, the wife of Mr. Raymond Curtis Newman. Other family members are: one son, Stevie Newman; two daughters, Vickie Newman and Ashley Newman; two brothers, Henry Lonergan and Freddie "Bug" Lonergan and his wife Pat; five grandchildren, Lacey, Justin, Trina, Nick, and Zach; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Faircloth officiating. Mrs. Newman will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Charlie Morris, Chris Morris, Ricky Allen, Randy Allen, Brent Allen, Ronnie Fuller, Louis Haley, and Robby Newman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. The family will receive friends this Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd., Martinez.
