FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Mr. Ray Jackson entered into rest on Thursday February 4, 2010. Funeral services will be held at the Bark Camp Baptist Church, Midville Ga., Sunday, February 7, at 2:00p.m. With Bishop Ralph Johnson officiating and Rev. Jr Harris assisting, Burial will follow in the Bark Camp Church Cemetery . Mr. Jackson, son of the late Mr. Jones (Bomber) and Susanne McClendon Jackson was born and reared in Midville, Georgia and attended the public schools in Burke County. He loved farming, playing the guitar and singing, He retired from the Nabisco Company. Survivors :Wife; Margaret Griffin Jackson, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Son; Almonte Jackson, Patterson, New Jersey; Daughter; Leslie White (Coleman) Stone Mountain, Ga.; Six brothers: L.J. Jackson (Betty) and William Pete Jackson (Dr. Elvira) of Midville, Ga.; Leroy Jackson (Joann) of Hampton, Ga; Arthur Jackson and Walter Jackson (Cecilie) of Atlanta, Ga; Seaborn Jackson of Albany Ga.; Three Sisters: Lucille Johnson of Hendersonville, Tenn.; Agnes Williams and Dorothy Moore (Jimmy) of Atlanta, Ga.; Two Grandchildren; Ashley and April White of Stone Mountain, Ga.; Three Step-children: Deloris Seay, Diane Connie and Ronnie Griffin of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; Nine sisters-in-law, Six brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends.
